Wai maka o Poliahu
I ka `eha a ke aloha
Kaumaha i ka ha`alele
O Aiwohi kupua

Anuanu ka `iu kêhau
O Mauna Kea
A`ohe ana ipo aloha
E ho`o pumehana

Kau mai ka hali`a aloha
O ka wa mamua
Puolu ka wai o Nohi
Ku`u mehameha

He lei ko aloha
No ku`u kino
Pili poli hemo`ole
No na kau akau

Hui:
E ho`i mai (e ho`i mai)
E ku`u ipo
E ho`i mai (e ho`i mai)
E pili kâua
E ho`i mai (e ho`i mai `oe)
E ho`i mai `oe e, e
E ho`i mai `oe
Tears of the snow goddess
And the pains of love
Sadden by separation
Of Aiwohi, the demi-god

Cold the sacred dew
Of Mauna Kea
And no one to love
And to warm

To enact memories of love
Of times gone by
Refresh the water of Nohi
And my loneliness

Your wreath of love
For my body
And bosom closed tied
Put in place forever

Chorus:
Come back to me
My sweetheart
Come back to me
As we embrace
Come back to me
Come back to me
Come back to me

Ua Mau – Hosana – by Moses W. Kaaneikawahaale Keale
Ua mau mai e ka pono
Mai ka Makua lani mai
Ke hui nei mäkou
I kona loko maika`i

Hui:
Hosana `ia ke Akua
Ma nä lani ki`eki`e
Ka waiho `ana mai
I kö käkou ola

Ke hui mai mäkou
Makua me keiki
Lökahi pü ka mana`o
I ho`okahi pu`uwai

Perpetual is the righteousness
That comes from the Father above
Let us gather together
In His goodness and grace

Chorus:
Praised be God
In the high heavens
His laying down
For our lives

We gather together
Parents and children
As one in mind
And one in heart

Nohea I Muʻolaulani, translated as Handsome One of Mu’olaulani [1] sometimes as Handsome at Mu’olaulani, and also referred to simply as Mu’olaulani, dates to May 1885. It was composed for Liliʻuokalani’s new home in Kapālama namedMu’olaulani which was opened with a gala party in May 1885. The Kapālama house was a source of great joy to her and became the subject of this song. It is now the site of the Lili’uokalani Childrens’ Center.[2][3]

He mea nui ke aloha This great love of yours
